German shares lose 0.95 pct Tuesday

FRANKFURT, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 126.77 points, or 0.95 percent, to close at 13,197.71 points.

Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 4.30 percent, followed by energy group RWE and multinational software corporation SAP, which lost 3.53 percent and 2.54 percent respectively.

Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical, sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and chemical and consumer goods company Henkel were the top three winners, rising 0.52 percent, 0.30 percent and 0.18 percent respectively.

SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 452.74 million euros (562.34 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
