Shen Yiqin elected Guizhou governor

GUIYANG, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Shen Yiqin was elected as governor of southwest China's Guizhou Province Tuesday.

The election was held at the first session of the 13th Guizhou provincial People's Congress.

Shen was born in December 1959 in Guizhou's Zhijin County.

Sun Zhigang was elected as director of the Standing Committee of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress. Enditem
