1 killed, several injured in S. Pakistan explosion

ISLAMABAD, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- A kid was killed and several others injured in an explosion in Pakistan's south Hyderabad district Monday night, officials said.

Deputy Inspector General Police Javed Odho said the blast occurred due to the explosion of firecrackers material in Qasim Abad area of the district located in southern Sindh province.

The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital. Enditem
