Thai cyclist Phounsavath wins Tour de Indonesia fourth stage

JAKARTA, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Thai cyclist Ariya Phounsavath won Tour de Indonesia fourth lap on Sunday.

Phounsavath, from Thailand Continental Team, took 4 hours, 20 minutes and 45 seconds to complete the fourth stage with a distance of a 170.9 km, starting from Banyuwangi town of East Java province.

Thai cyclist Peerapol Chawchiangkwang, also from Thailand Continental Cycling Team, finished second. Spain's cyclist Jokin Leturia Etxtabe from Interpo Stardalli Cycling Team came third.

For team category, the Thailand Continental Cycling Team from Thailand wins the fourth stage, followed by Sapura Cycling Team from Malaysia and St George Continental Cycling Team from Australia, Viva media reported.

The Tour de Indonesia with a distance of 615.9 km started from Prambanan Temple of Yogyakarta province in Java island on Thursday and finish in nearby Bali resort island on Sunday.

The tour lured 15 cycling teams from 19 countries and regions. Enditem
