NAIROBI, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Sunday.

-- Opposition coalition National Super Alliance (NASA) has scheduled a series of events culminating in the swearing-in that its leaders hope would be the final affront in challenging the legitimacy of President Uhuru Kenyatta's government. The NASA principals would attend a church service before holding a meet-the-people tour ahead of the swearing-in. There are fears that if indeed the oath taking takes place, it would not only heighten political tension but also divide the country further. Ruling party Jubilee has shut the door on dialogue following Kenyatta's naming of his Cabinet on Friday. (Standard on Sunday)
