1 shot dead, 2 injured at store in Houston, U.S.

HOUSTON, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting incident Friday evening at a store in the southern U.S. city of Houston, local police said.

The shooting was reported Friday evening at a food store in northwest Houston, with the suspect still at large, said the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The deceased victim was confirmed as the son of the food store owner, local media said.

It is unknown what provoked the shooting, and no arrests have been made so far. Enditem
