Senior CPC official meets Communist Party of Vietnam delegation

BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chen Xi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with a delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) here on Wednesday.

Chen, also head of the CPC Central Committee Organization Department, said that in the spirit of being good comrades, partners, neighbors and friends, long-term stability, good-neighborliness and comprehensive cooperation, China will push forward relations with Vietnam.

Chen said that Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, maintained close contact with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong.

Pham Minh Chinh, head of the visiting delegation, said that Vietnam is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in party building and other areas, and will make new contributions to the development of China-Vietnam relations.

Pham Minh Chinh is a member of the Political Bureau of CPV Central Committee and Head of the Committee's Organization Commission. Enditem
