China names 6 online game companies for illegal operations

BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese authorities on Wednesday published details of six typical cases of online game companies punished for illegal operations.

The Ministry of Culture said that in two cases, police found no real-name registration. Another two companies did not register with the administration.

In the other cases, companies induced players to pay illegal fees.

The companies have been fined and ordered to make immediate rectifications. Enditem
