RABAT, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Zambia secured the top spot of Group B at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) after a 1-1 draw with Namibia on Monday.

Both teams were already assured of quarter-final places with two wins each. Zambia finished first with goals difference.

At Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Namibia had better start with an early lead through Abdsalom Imbondi in the 13th minute. Zambia's reaction did not take long as Lazarus Kambole equalized in the 24th minute.

Zambia will face Group A second Sudan, while Namibia will face Group A leaders Morocco on Saturday.

Cote d' Ivoire and Uganda ended the tournament with one point each after a goalless draw in the group.

Running until Feb. 4, the tournament, which is reserved only for African players based in their domestic leagues, features 16 teams in four groups. Enditem
