Spanish shares gain 1 pct Monday

MADRID, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Monday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up by 1 percent or 104.50 points, to 10,584 points.
A total of 24 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Supermarket DIA advanced 4.22 percent, being the top gainer of the day. It was followed by renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa and Spain's fourth largest bank Banco Sabadell that rose by 3.19 percent and 2.69 percent respectively.
Media company Mediaset went down by 1.43 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Airline group IAG was down 0.78 percent and gas natural infrastructure company Gas Natural went down by 0.49 percent. Enditem
