LUSAKA, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Saturday.
-- Zambia's founding President Kenneth Kaunda has commended Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa for committing himself to promoting peace and unity in his country.
Kaunda said the new Zimbabwean president's pledge to take care of his predecessor, Robert Mugabe, was a clear indication of his resolve to enhance unity and peace in Zimbabwe. (Zambia Daily Mail)
-- Zambia says it will this year start the construction of seven industrial parks across the country meant to create business linkages between large entities and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Margaret Mwanakatwe said the move to construct seven industrial parks was also meant to encourage and boost local participation in entrepreneurship. (Daily Nation)
