NAIROBI, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenya's major media outlets on Friday.

-- Kenyan opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is set to be sworn-in as the "People's President" in front of a million of his supporters in Nairobi on Jan. 30.

Before the ceremony, the NASA is expected to announce presidential results of all constituencies according to the data it gathered during the Aug. 8 polls, which it maintains it won. (The Standard)

-- Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has stepped in to quell rebellion in his party by ordering legislators to remove four National Assembly committees chairmen elected against his wishes. The four have been at loggerhead with the ruling party. (Daily Nation)
