NEW YORK, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted 91km south of Raoul Island, New Zealand, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Wednesday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 30.82 km, was initially determined to be at 30.0875 degrees south latitude and 177.7627 degrees west longitude. Enditem
