KAMPALA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Ugandan Cricket national team will play several international friendly games in Qatar and India next month.

"Our board of directors met on Tuesday night and accepted the invitations from Qatar and India for the team to tour the two countries as the matches will help our team prepare for the World Cricket League Division 4 tournament," Martin Ondeko, an administrative officer of the Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) told Xinhua.

Ondeko explained on Wednesday that the hosting countries will meet the accommodation and international transport costs, while Uganda caters for the air tickets and allowances for the team members.

The team under coach Steve Tikolo will play five games between February 6-13th in Qatar before head for another four in India between February 15-23. "We expect to send 14 players and three officials for the tour," added Ondeko. Enditem
