KUWAIT CITY, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait will host the ministerial meeting of the U.S.-led International Coalition against the Islamic State (IS) on Feb. 13, Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said Tuesday.

The meeting is part of efforts to fight against terrorism, he said.

Applauding the coalition for the tangible progress it has made in Iraq and Syria, he stressed that more cooperation is needed to ensure peace and security in the world.
