Jilin smash Tianjin 114-94 to stop losing streak in CBA

CHANGCHUN, Jan.16 (Xinhua) -- Von Waver scored a game-high 36 points as Jilin defeated Tianjin 114-94 to stop a 3-game losing streak in the 27th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Tuesday night.

From 11-20 down, Jilin played well to overtake the lead with Carl Landry and Von Waver's consecutive scoring.

In the second half, Jilin explodes with 3-pointers to enlarge the gap to double digits and force the game into garbage time.

Von Waver led Jilin with 36 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Carl Landry also contributed 33 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, while Gao Shiyan had 6 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Zhang Biao pocketed 10 points.

Eugene Jeter scored 23 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists for Tianjin, Deron Williams contributed 22 points and 4 rebounds, Zhang Zhihan made 14 points and 6 rebounds, Li Rongyan combined for 12 points. Enditem
