Restaurant bar fire kills 6 in Cote d'Ivoire

ABIDJAN, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed in a fire that started Monday in the Attecoube district of Abidjan in a restaurant bar, in Cote d'Ivoire.

According to the Military Fire Brigade, the fire broke out at around 3 a.m. local time Monday, and ravaged everything in the restaurant.

The fire brigade said the fire has been contained.

According to preliminary findings, the fire was a result of an electrical short circuit. Enditem
