2nd LD Writethru: Indonesia resumes trading after stock exchange building floor collapse

JAKARTA, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's stock exchange administrator has ordered the resumption of the trading after the collapse of the first floor in stock exchange building that injured dozens on Monday.

The resumed stock trading opened lower at an index of 6,369.722 from the level before the collapse at 6,372.78.

Workers working in the building were allowed to go inside the building to continue their work.

The collapse occurred at 12:10 p.m. local time during lunch break time.

Police said no death was found at the collapse scene in the tower 2 of the stock exchange building premises.

Police cordoned off the building for further investigation into the incident. Traffic around the building, located in Jakarta's bustling business district, was closed down to ease the access for ambulances to transport the injured to hospitals.

Dozens of people, mostly women, were injured in various degrees due to the incident. Enditem
