Indonesian president to watch friendly game against Iceland

JAKARTA, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Joko Widodo will be present at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta to watch the Indonesian team play against Iceland in a soccer friendly on Sunday evening.

Widodo will also inaugurate the use of the stadium, which has been renovated for the 18th Asian Games this year, said Gatot Dewa Brata, secretary of the Indonesian youth and sport ministry.

Iceland crushed Indonesia 6-0 in the first of a two-game series on Thursday evening. Enditem
