Morocco nabs Nigerian with cocaine capsules hidden in stomach

RABAT, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Moroccan police seized on Thursday 74 capsules filled with 1.395 kg of cocaine in the stomach of a Nigerian national at Morocco's Casablanca Airport.

The banned substance was extracted from the suspected drug trafficker at Ibn Rochd University Hospital, the police said in a statement.

The Nigerian national was arrested on his arrival in the Casablanca Airport on a flight from Brazil's Sao Paulo, the statement added.

The suspect was remanded in police custody pending the investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor. Enditem
