Falling cement kills six workers in northern China

SHIJIAZHUANG, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Six workers died after they were hit by falling cement in north China's Hebei Province, local authorities said on Thursday.

The workers were cleaning a storage facility on Tuesday morning at cement factory in Zhuolu County in Hebei, when slabs fell on them, the county government said in a statement.

The six died after they were taken to a local hospital.

The plant is owned by BBMG Corporation in Beijing, a state-owned enterprise. Enditem
