WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Indiana Pacers announced on Wednesday that center Myles Turner will miss the team's next two games due to a right elbow injury suffered earlier this week.

The Pacers said in a statement that Turner, who is averaging 13.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game this season, hurt his right elbow during Monday's 109-96 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Turner will miss Wednesday's home game against the Miami Heat and Friday's home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Turner is being evaluated and an update will be provided when available, the club added. Enditem
