TEHRAN -- If the sanction waivers are not extended by the United States, Iran can reactive nuclear program soon, Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said on Wednesday.

Iran is capable of multiplying the pace of its nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment, Kamalvandi was quoted as saying by Press TV. (Iran-Nuke)

TUNIS -- Some 237 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours for being involved in looting and vandalism, Tunisian Ministry of Interior said on Wednesday.

Khalifa Chibani, official spokesman for the ministry, said the looting took place in 11 provinces, and 58 security agents including police and national guard were injured in night clashes, in addition to the destruction of 57 safety vehicles. (Tunisia-Clash)

BAGHDAD -- The U.S. ambassador to Iraq Wednesday said that there would be a new decrease of U.S. troops in Iraq in the upcoming months.

In a press conference for some local media at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Ambassador Douglas Silliman said "the presence of U.S. forces in Iraq has been decreased, especially in Anbar province in coordination with the Iraqi forces," according to al-Sumaria News Agency. (Iraq-U.S.)

ADEN, Yemen -- About three soldiers of the newly-recruited Yemeni troops were killed Wednesday when a booby-trapped car hit a military convoy in the southeastern province of Shabwa, a security official told Xinhua.

"The troops were targeted by a terrorist attack with a booby-trapped car that killed three soldiers and injured a number of others in the entrance of Saeed district of Shabwa province," the local security source said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-Attack) Enditem
