Spanish shares gain 0.02 pct Wednesday

MADRID, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.02 percent or 1.80 points, to close at 10,428.30 points.

A total of 14 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Spain's fourth largest bank Banco Sabadell advanced 4.04 percent followed by Spain's fifth largest bank Bankia and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander that rose 2.84 percent and 2.42 percent respectively.

Telecommunication company Cellnex went down 3.51 percent followed by real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial and world's leading retailer Inditex that lost 2.72 percent and 2.53 percent respectively. Enditem
