CHICAGO, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded mixed on Wednesday morning, with soybeans falling amid wetter weather in South America and as investors square positions ahead of U.S. Department of Agriculture report on Friday.

March corn were up 0.5 cent at 3.495 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1540 GMT, March wheat was 1.5 cents higher at 4.3375 dollars, while March soybeans was 5.5 cents lower at 9.5825 dollars.

Rainfall is now forecast for the next 10 days in parts of Argentina, which may boost crop prospects in the country, according to Commodity Weather Group.

Rain is also expected in the central Midwest of U.S., which may boost prospects for some soft red winter wheat crops, but any help is limited, the forecaster said. Enditem
