LUSAKA, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Wednesday.
-- A four-member delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development (SDF) has arrived in Zambia to sign bilateral agreements, among them the construction of a 100 million-U.S. dollar hospital in Lusaka, the country's capital.
SDF vice-chairperson Yusuf al Bassam said the team was in Zambia to meet government officials and discuss how best to enhance bilateral relation between the two countries. (Zambia Daily Mail)
-- The police have warned residents of Lusaka, the Zambian capital, to be security conscious at all times and report any suspicious-looking persons to the police as the police suspect that ritual killers were once again on the loose.
Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata-Katongo said police suspect that ritual killers who terrorized the city in 2016 were back and that three bodies with some body parts have been picked in the last few weeks. (Daily Nation)
