BEIJING, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Fang Fenghui, member of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) and former chief of staff of the CMC Joint Staff Department, has been transferred to the military prosecution authority on suspicion of offering and accepting bribery.

The transfer was made upon approval of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Fang was also a former member of the CPC Central Military Commission. Enditem
