Shandong explodes with 3-pointers to edge Jilin 127-105

JINAN, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Qingpeng scored eight 3-pointers to garner a team-high 24 points, Pan Ning added five 3-pointers, leading Shandong to a 127-105 home victory over Jilin in the 25th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Sunday night.
Jilin led for most of the first three quarters with one foreign player Carl Landry, when Shandong knew they were in for a rough game. The host then improved their defense, and shot more 3-pointers to take the lead in the third quarter. Shandong scored nineteen 3-pointers, while Jilin had 9.
Carl Landry scored a game-high 42 points and 14 rebounds. Cai Lilong added 23 points all from the secoNd and third quarters for Jilin. Ding Yan Yuhang had only 18 points, 11 out of the last quarter. Enditem
