BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 22km SW of Nikol'skoye, Russia at 02:24:06 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 55.0703 degrees north latitude and 165.7061 degrees east longitude. Enditem
