NEW YORK, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks closed higher on Friday, with all three indices posting record highs, despite a negative report of the country's nonfarm payrolls.

The Dow added 0.88 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.70 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.83 percent. Enditem
