BENXI, Liaoning province, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Jiangsu snapped a five-game winning streak of Liaoning in the Chinese Basketball Association League with a 98-84 victory here on Friday.

Marshon Brooks notched game-high 28 points and Miroslav Radulica added 25 points and 13 rebounds to help Jiangsu improve to an 18-6 win-loss record while Liaoning slipped to 18-6.

"Congratulations to my players! They are really motivated and focused in the game," said Jiangsu coach Memi Becirovic. "We played good defense today, both zone and man-on-man."

"It's a very hard game. I am happy that we did what the coach told us to do," said Li Yuanyu, who contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds to Jiangsu's first victory in the last three games.

Liaoning shot 24-for-75 from the field while Han Dejun had a team-high 26 points.

"We struggled with our attack and that's why we lost today," said Liaoning coach Guo Shiqiang. "We also had problems with our rebounding, we need to improve on that."

Guangsha now led the CBA standings with a 19-5 record, followed by Liaoning and Jiangsu on 18-6. Enditem
