LUSAKA, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Friday.

-- A court in Zambia's Ndola city on the Copperbelt Province has sentenced a Kenyan national to four years imprisonment for trafficking in 64 kilograms of khat miraa.

Chief Resident Magistrate John Mbuzi jailed 23-year-old Ali Fud Kibarabara of Nairobi after he pleaded guilty to the offense following his arrest on December 24, 2017 on arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- South Korea President Moon Jae-in has invited his Zambian counterpart Edgar Lungu for a state visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

The president of South Korea said this when Zambia's newly-appointed ambassador to that country Wilbur Simuusa presented his credentials, and stressed the importance of strengthening ties. (Times of Zambia)

--Head coach of the Zambia national soccer team Wedson Nyirenda said he has set his goal to win the 2018 African Nations Championship title.
