BEIJING, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares ended higher in the morning session Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.41 percent to end at 3,382.9 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.26 percent to close at 11,309.37 points. Enditem
