U.S. stocks rise to record highs on upbeat data

NEW YORK, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with all three indices posting record highs, as economic data from the country came out positive.

The Dow added 0.40 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.64 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.84 percent. Enditem
