U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

NEW YORK, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased against most major currencies on Wednesday as economic data from the country came out positive.

In late New York trading, the euro declined to 1.2015 dollars from 1.2045 dollars, while the dollar bought 112.52 Japanese yen, higher than 112.34 yen in the previous session. Enditem
