MEXICO CITY -- Three vehicles crashed into each other and burst into flames on a highway in south Mexico's Guerrero state, killing 10 people, including five members of a vacationing family visiting from the U.S., officials reported on Saturday.

The accident, involving two SUVs and a motorcycle, took place shortly before midnight Friday, on the highway linking the beach resorts of Acapulco and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, the state's Secretary of Civil protection said. (Mexico-Crash)

MONROVIA -- Liberia's president-elect George Weah on Saturday said improving the welfare of Liberians would rank as his top most priority when he takes office in January.

JERUSALEM -- Israel launched on Saturday a second strike on a Hamas post in the Gaza Strip, saying it was a response to a rocket fire from the coastal enclave a day before.

"This evening IAF (Israel Air Force) fighter jets targeted an observation post belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the southern Gaza Strip," a military spokesperson said in a statement. (Israel-Strike-Hamas)

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian authorities unearthed 115 bodies from a mass grave discovered in Syria's northern province of Raqqa, state news agency SANA reported.
