China details rules for environment tax law enforcement

BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council has detailed rules for enforcement of an upcoming environment protection tax law, which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

The regulations specified the taxation targets, tax-setting basis, conditions for tax reduction and exemptions as well as collection management for the law, according to a State Council decree signed by Premier Li Keqiang.

The regulations also offered a cooperation mechanism between tax and environmental protection authorities. Enditem
