U.S. stocks close lower as 2017 draws a close

NEW YORK, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks closed lower in a holiday-shortened week on Friday, the last trading day this year.

The Dow lost 0.48 percent, and the S&P 500 decreased 0.52 percent, while the Nasdaq was down 0.67 percent. Enditem
