India condemns Kabul terror attack

NEW DELHI, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- India on Friday strongly condemned the terror attack in Kabul on Thursday which left over 40 people dead.

In a written statement issued by Indian Ministry of External Affairs, the government described it as a "dastardly" attack.

"India strongly condemns the cowardly suicide terror attack on 28 December at the media news agency and the cultural centre in Kabul resulting in loss of more than 40 innocent lives and many more injured," said the statement.

"Our heartfelt condolences are with the families of the victims of this dastardly attack and we wish early recovery to the injured," it added. Enditem
