NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 221km SE of Sarangani, Philippines at 17:20:22 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 53.56 km, was initially determined to be at 3.9779 degrees north latitude and 126.8647 degrees east longitude. Enditem
