NEW YORK, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 85 km ESE of Lakatoro, Vanuatu at 20:59:14 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 192.61 km, was initially determined to be at 16.4243 degrees south latitude and 168.1534 degrees east longitude. Enditem
