XINING, China, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Harbin's first men's team beat all its competitors during the first three days and led the table of China's curling tournament with a 4-0 win-loss record on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Heilongjiang's first women's team kept topping the group standings with 4-1 win-loss record.

On the women's actions on Thursday morning, Heilongjiang's first team romped against Beijing century star 10-2. As the first thrower, Heilongjiang stole three points in the first end and got a flying start 3-0 and extended their lead to 4-0 before Beijing century star got one point back in 3rd end. In the fourth end, Heilongjiang made use of the advantage as the second thrower and won 5 points. Beijing century star had to concede their defeat after Heilongjiang took another on point from the 6th end.

On the men's actions, the competition between Harbin's first team and Jilin's first team was very tight. They fought tit for tat with each other and tie for 2 in the first five ends, and after Jilin won two points in the 6th end, Harbin beat Jilin 6-4 by taking 3 points and one point respectively in the 7th and 8th end.

"I didn't show my best performance today, and I think we should still draw our experiences and make a better preparation for tomorrow's matches, but after all, our team toped the group for now, and it gave us much confidence," said Xu Jingtao from Harbin's first team.

The six-day National Curling Tournament kicked off on Dec. 24, attracting 30 teams from all over China. Enditem
