Chinese shares close lower at midday Wednesday

BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.13 percent to end the morning session at 3,301.79.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.17 percent to close at 11,003.24. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.17 percent to 1,755.82 points. Enditem
