Dollar hovers in lower 113 yen zone amid U.S. tax reform expectations

TOKYO, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar hovered in the lower 113 yen zone Monday in Tokyo amid expectations for the United States tax reforms.

At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 113.24-26 yen compared with 113.20-30 yen in New York and 113.40-41 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. It moved between 113.09 yen and 113.38 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1875-1876 dollars and 134.48-52 yen against 1.1859-1869 dollars and 134.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1852-1853 dollars and 134.40-44 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
