Dollar trades in lower 113 yen range in morning, foreign investors away for Christmas

TOKYO, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded hands in the lower 113 yen zone on Monday morning in Tokyo, with trade thin owing to many foreign traders being away for Christmas holidays.

At midday, the dollar was quoted at 113.26-29 yen compared with 113.20-30 yen in New York and 113.40-41 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1851-1855 dollars and 134.23-29 yen against 1.1859-1869 dollars and 134.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1852-1853 dollars and 134.40-44 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
