LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Portland Trail Blzaers 95-92 at Staples Center on Saturday evening.

The Lakers' head coach Luke Walton used 12 of his 13 available players as small forward Brandon Ingram was held out for injuries following an intense game with NBA defending champion the Golden State Warriors in Oakland Friday night.

Ingram's replacer Josh Hart smashed 11 points and 10 rebounds but failed to lead the team to victory.

Struggling with errors of themselves and referees, the lakers led seven and five points after the first and second quarters respectively, tied with Trail Blazers in the third, then lost three points in the end.

After the game, the Lakers' win-loss sheet fell to 11-20 while the Trail Blazers improved to 17-16. Enditem
