YANGON, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by President of the Chinese Academy of Social Science Wang Weiguang, visited Myanmar from Thursday to Friday to introduce the visions and strategies put forth at the CPC 19th National Congress in October.

The delegation met with Speaker of Myanmar's House of Representatives (Lower House) U Win Myint and other key political party leaders.

While attending a specific seminar, the delegation briefed Myanmar's key politicians, social organizations, think-tank media and different walks of life over the spirit of the CPC 19th National Congress.

The Myanmar side appraised China's historical achievements scored since the 18th CPC National Congress under the leadership of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, and spoke highly of the Congress' significance and its deep- and far-reaching influence.

Different walks of life of Myanmar expected to learn with enthusiasm from the CPC's governance experiences, and enhance exchange and cooperation between the two countries in respective sectors, so as to jointly push the development of bilateral friendly ties to a new stage. Enditem
