MUMBAI, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a negative note Thursday.

Equity benchmarks continued to trade around flatline due to lack of domestic and global cues, but the broader markets continued their outperformance.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,756.28, down 21.10 points, or 0.06 percent, compared to its previous close at 33,777.38. Enditem
