Dollar trades in lower-113 yen zone after halt in Treasury yield rise

TOKYO, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower-113 yen zone Thursday morning in Tokyo amid a halt in U.S. Treasury yields rising.

At midday, the dollar was quoted at 113.41-43 yen compared with 113.33-43 yen in New York and 113.13-14 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1874-1875 dollars and 134.67-68 yen against 1.1866-1876 dollars and 134.56-66 yen in New York and 1.1841-1842 dollars and 133.96-134.00 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
