RIYADH, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Wednesday made a phone call to the U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss issues of common concern, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The U.S. President expressed condemnation of the attempt of Houthi militias to target Riyadh with a missile that was intercepted by the air force on Tuesday.

The two leaders reviewed steps to implement the decisions of the UN Security Council to hold Iran accountable for supplying Houthis with missiles to harm the stability of Saudi Arabia and the region.
